North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong invites Online Applications from Candidates who are Citizens of India for filling up of Non-Teaching Posts of the following:
1. Name of the Post: Controller of Examination (Reserved: UR).
(a) Essential Qualifications: (i) Master Degree with 55% Marks (ii) Fifteen (15) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with Eight (8) years of services in the Academic Level 12 and above including at Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration or (iii) Comparable experience in Research Establishment and or other Institutions of Higher Education or (iv) 15 years of Administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent Post.
(b) Pay Level 14: Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200/-
2. Name of the Post: Librarian (Reserved: UR).
(a) Essential Qualifications: (i) Master Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with 55% Marks (ii) Ten years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or 10 years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or 10 years experience as a College Librarian (iii) Evidence of innovative Library Service, including the integration of ICT in a Library (iv) A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archives and manuscript-keeping.
(b) Pay Level 14: Rs. 1,44,200 to 2,18,200/-
Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only for General/OBC Candidates. Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only for SC/ST Candidates. Women Candidates and Person with Disabilities (PwD) are exempted from the Payment of Application Fee.
