The office of the District Social Welfare Officer invites application from eligible candidates who are citizen of Meghalaya for the following posts on purely fixed monthly remuneration for implementation of the Mision Vatsalya Scheme in Southwest Khasi Hills District. The appointment is for a period of one year only and extended on the basis of performance.
Name of the Post: Child Helpline Supervisor.
No. of post: 2 (two).
Remuneration: Rs. 17,000/- Per month.
Qualification: Graduate preferably in B.A in Social Work/Computer Sciences/Information Technology/Community Sociology/Social Sciences from arecognized university. Weightage for Qualification experienced candidate Proficiency in Computers Preference may be given to personnels having experience of working in Emergency Helplines.
Work Experience: Proficiency in Computers preference may be given to personnels of working in Emergency.
Name of the Post: Case Worker.
No. of post: 2 (two).
Remuneration: Rs. 14,000/- Per month.
Qualification: 12th passed from a recognized Board/ Equivalent Board. Good Communication Skills. Weightage for experienced candidate. Preference may be given to personnels of working in Emergency Helplines.
Work Experience: Preference may be given to personnels of having experience working in emergency Helplines.
Age Limit: As per Govt. norms.

- Application in standard form must be submitted to the office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Mawkyrwat during office hours.
- The last date for submission of application is 28″ August, 2023.
- Duly filled in application should be accompanied by attested copies of all documents, testimonials and required work experience.
- Two duly attested recent passport size photographs of the applicant should be attached in the application form along with contact number.
- It is mandatory for the applicants to have acquired the requisite educational qualification (s) prescribed for the posts as on the last date fixed for submission of applications.
- The date on which an applicant is deemed to have acquired the requisite educational qualification shall be the date on which the result of the last examination for such qualification degree is declared by the Universities/Boards/Institutions.
- Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 32 years of age as on 1″ January 2023. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (Five) years in case of SC/ST candidates. The date of birth to be accepted is as entered in the Matriculation/Secondary School Leaving Certificate or a certificate recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or an extract from the official Registers duly certified by the proper authority of the Board of School Educations. Proof other than these will not be accepted. No age bar in respect of regular Government employee, who entered Government service within the prescribe age limit.
- Candidates applying for the post that required Computer knowledge must possess relevant documents this provide evidence to support the computer knowledge. No applications will be received after the due date. Incomplete application will be rejected.
