Applications Online – Scholarship 2025-26 (Fresh & Renewal) are invited from students who are permanent residents of Meghalaya for the academic year 2025-26 under the following schemes:

1️⃣ Free Studentship Scholarship for ST/SC Students

For students pursuing higher studies (Class XI to Post-Graduation) belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Scheduled Caste (SC).
Eligible students include:

• Those who failed in the previous year, or
• Those whose parental income exceeds ₹2.50 Lakhs per annum and are not eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship.

2️⃣ Book Grant Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe Students

For ST students pursuing higher studies from Class XI to Post-Graduation (excluding Vocational, Engineering, Medical, and Paramedical courses) who secured 60% marks and above in the previous year.

3️⃣ Merit Scholarship for Tribal & General Students

For students of Meghalaya (Tribal and General) who have secured very high marks in Class X, XII (MBOSE, AIICSE, CBSE) and Degree Examinations 2024.
A specific number of scholarships will be awarded based on merit.

4️⃣ Post-Graduate Research Scholarship

For students of Meghalaya (SC/ST and General) pursuing M.Phil or Ph.D. in recognized Universities or Research Institutions, with 50% marks and above at the Master’s level.

5️⃣ Border Areas Scholarship

For students belonging to SC/ST categories of Meghalaya pursuing Post-Matric studies within or outside the State during 2024-25.

28th November 2025
After this date, the portal will automatically close.

• False or incorrect information will result in immediate cancellation.
