The Border Security Force (BSF Recruitment 2025) invites applications from male and female candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) and domiciled in Meghalaya for recruitment to the post of Constable (General Duty) through a Special Recruitment Rally 2025.

- Pay Scale: Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) as per 7th CPC + allowances (ration, medical, uniform, free accommodation, LTC, etc.)
- Service Liability: All India / abroad posting under BSF Act & Rules

Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 18 – 28 years (as on 01.08.2025)
- Born between 02.08.1997 and 01.08.2007 (both dates inclusive)
- Includes 5 years relaxation for ST candidates
- Education: Matriculation / Class 10 pass from a recognized board
Physical Standards (for ST candidates)
Height:
- Male – 157 cm (min.)
- Female – 147.5 cm (min.)
Chest (Male only):
- 76 cm (unexpanded), with minimum 5 cm expansion
Weight: Proportionate to height & age (as per medical standard)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male: 5 km run in 24 minutes
- Female: 1.6 km run in 8.30 minutes

- Written Examination (100 marks, 100 questions, 2 hours, bilingual – Hindi & English)

Important Dates & Recruitment Rallies in Meghalaya
Application & Reporting at Recruitment Centers:
- Candidates must report in person with filled application form & documents.
- Recruitment rallies will be held from 02 September 2025 to 12 September 2025 across different districts.
- Detailed schedule of district-wise recruitment dates and centers is available in the official notification.
Registration & PST/PET:
- From 22 September 2025 onwards at BSF campuses in Tura (West Garo Hills) and Shillong (Mawpat, East Khasi Hills).
