Online Applications are invited in the Prescribed Form for Para-Medical Studies i.e., (i) B.Sc. Nursing (ii) D.Pharm, (iii) B.Pharm, (iv) BMLT, (v) B.Sc. Radio Imaging & Cardiac Instrument, (vi) B.Sc. Opthalmic against State Quota of Seats in various Allied Course Commencing during 2021-2022.
1. Eligibility For Allied Course:
(a) Qualifications: Class XII (10+2) Passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible to apply (Persons applying for B.Pharm & D.Pharm Seat should also have Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level examination). Candidates should also secure 40% Aggregated Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
(b) Age Limit: Candidate/Applicants should complete of 17 years on or before 31-12-2021. Applicants should also be Medically Fit.
2. The Lists of Candidates Eligible for Screening will be displayed in the Website. The Date of Screening will be intimated later.
3. Selection of Candidates, who are Medically Fit and eligible, will be made purely on the basis of Merit and subject to the Reservation Policy of the State Govt.
4. The List of Selected Candidates Eligible for undergoing the course will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Directorate of Health Services (MI), Shillong and Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Tura. and in Govt. Website and also be published in the local dailies published from Shillong and Tura. No individual intimation will be served on any applicant selected for nomination.
5. Selected Candidates are to reports immediately to the Deputy Secretary/Under Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Room No. 506. Additional Secretariat Building, Shillong, to collect their Letter of Nominations for further instructions as the case may be.
6. Selected Candidates who fail to report according to the fixed date will automatically lose their right to nomination and the next eligible candidate from the waiting list will be nominated.
7. Terms and Conditions for Admission and all other requirements including recurring fees of the concerned Allied Institution to which the Applicant is nominated will have to be abide and paid by the Student concerned in time and responsibility on this count shall rest with the Candidate/Student.
8. Depending on the availability of Vacant Post, the Govt. shall not Guarantee Job on completion of their studies.
