The Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) invites online applications for the post AWS Administrator on contractual basis. The details are given below:

Name of the Post: AWS Administrator.

Monthly Emolument: Commensurate with experience.

Place of Posting: Shillong.

Desired Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Applications/Computer Science/Bachelor in Engineering.

Desired Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Cloud Computing. Experience in Networking. Knowledge in at least two programming language like Java, Javascript, PHP and Python. Expert in Databases (RDBMS and MySQl). Expert in at least one fronted framework and knowledge of others popular frameworks. Experience with Linux as power user or administrator with shell scripting skills. Experience with scripting languages such as Python. Experience with production deployment, monitoring and operational support, expert with develops tools and process. Know how to work on S3, Cognito, API Gateway, Step Function and Lambda. Familiarity with Agile software delivery, Continuous Integration/Delivery. Experience in deploying LMAP stack and MERN stack applications. Understanding of working with cloud providers (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker). Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests. Proficiency with Git or another version control system as required. Experience working in both MNC and startup companies.

Essential Skills: Thorough understanding of user experience. Good knowledge of LINUX/UNIX operating system. Good knowledge on AWS related services like Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, Amazon ElastiCache, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), S3 Standard, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and AWS Elastic Beanstalk. Good knowledge of Virtualization. Good understanding of the SRS provided. Good problem-solving skill and attention to detail. Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multi-task requirements, high attention to detail and high degree of pro-activity and initiative.

Age Limit: Upto 45 years.

Duration of Contract: 01 (One) year. The contract may be renewed subject to the performance satisfaction of MBMA and continuance of the project you are engaged with.
