The Office of the Inspector General of Police has invited online Applications through Meghalaya Police Website https://megpolice.gov.in/ from eligible candidates who are Indian Citizens to fill up the under mentioned categories of vacancies in the Meghalaya Police.

AB/UB Group:

(A) UB Sub Inspector: 76 Posts.

(Scale of Pay: Level – 11 of Revised Pay Structure – Graduate Passed Rs. 37800-86400/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rule from time to time).

Age: 21-27 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC.

(B) UB Category:

(Scale of Pay: Level – 4 of Revised Pay Structure – Matriculates – Class X Passed Rs. 22200-52400/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rule from time to time).

Age: 18-21 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC.

1. UB Constable – 720 Posts.
2. Fireman (Male only) – 195 Posts.
3. Driver Fireman (Male only) – 53 Posts.
4. Fireman Mechanic/Mechanic (Male only) – 26 Posts.
5. MPRO Operator – 205 Posts.
6. Signal/BN Operator – 56 Posts.

(C) AB Category:

(Scale of Pay: Level – 4 of Revised Pay Structure – Matriculates – Class X Passed Rs. 22200-52400/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rule from time to time).

(Scale of Pay: Level – 3 of Revised Pay Structure – Matriculates – Class IX Passed Rs. 20600-48700/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rule from time to time).

Age: 18-21 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC.

1. UB Constable – 720 Posts.
2. AB Constable/BN Constable/MPRO GD Constable/Constable Handyman – 1494 Posts.
3. Driver Constable (Male only) – 143 Posts.
