The District Selection Committee (DSC), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat, invites online applications from genuine Indian citizens who are permanent residents of Meghalaya for various Grade-IV posts under different departments. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.

The application portal opens on 27th October 2025 and will remain active until 20th November 2025. The last date for payment of application fees is also 20th November 2025. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be entertained.

- Driver (Pay Level 3) (Only Male)
- Chowkidar (Pay Level 1) (Both Male & Female)
- Peon cum Chowkidar (Pay Level 1) (Preferably Male)
- Sweeper-cum-Cleaner (Pay Level 1) (Preferably Female)
- Grade IV (Pay Level 1) (Both Male & Female)
- Peon (Pay Level 1) (Both Male & Female)
- Mali (Pay Level 1) (Both Male & Female)
- Plant Protection Field Worker (Pay Level 1) (Both Male & Female)
Educational Qualifications
- Driver: Class VIII passed with a valid Driving Licence. A Driving Test will be conducted for eligible candidates (Only Male).
- Peon / Chowkidar / Grade IV / Mali / Field Worker: Class VIII passed (both male and female candidates are eligible).
- Peon cum Chowkidar: Class VIII passed (Preferably Female).
- Peon cum Chowkidar: Class VIII passed (Preferably Male).
Age Limit
- Applicants must be between 18 and 32 years of age as on 1st January 2025.
- Upper age relaxation:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWDs), relaxation will be as per Government O.M. No. PER(AR)150/88/560 dated 18th January 2023.
- There is no upper age limit for regular Government employees who entered service within the prescribed age limit and submit a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department at the time of the interview.
Note: The date of birth recorded in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate will be accepted as proof of age.
Reservation Policy
Reservation of vacancies will be made as per the State Reservation Policy of the Government of Meghalaya.
The District Selection Committee reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts based on requirements.
