Recruitment Notice: Various Contractual Posts under State Rural Employment Society, West Jaintia Hills District

The State Rural Employment Society – District Implementing Division (SRES-DID), West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai, invites applications from residents of Meghalaya having the required qualifications and experience for various contractual posts under MGNREGA, PMAY-G, RGSA, PMAAGY, and SBM-G programmes. The engagement will be for a period of one year, extendable based on performance.

Eligible candidates may submit their applications either online or offline on or before 25th November 2025. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.

Available Positions

1. Technical Professional (PMAY-G)

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution/university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in related fields.
• Remuneration: ₹15,000 per month.
• Place of Posting: Jowai.

2. Training Coordinator/District Programme Officer (PMAY-G)

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Rural Development/Agriculture Extension/Social Work or PG Diploma in Rural Development or its equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in related fields.
• Remuneration: ₹15,000 per month.
• Place of Posting: Jowai.

3. Data Entry Operator (PMAY-G)

• Qualification: Class XII passed with Diploma in Computer.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Data Entry-related work.
• Remuneration: ₹12,000 per month.
• Place of Posting: Namdong C&RD Block.

4. Technical Support Staff (PMAY-G)

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution/university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in related fields.
• Remuneration: ₹15,000 per month.
• Place of Posting: Namdong C&RD Block.

5. Assistant Programme Officer (MGNREGS)

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Rural Development/Agriculture Extension/Social Work or PG Diploma in Rural Development or its equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Rural Development or related fields.
• Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month.
• Place of Posting: Namdong C&RD Block.

6. Block Technical Assistant (MGNREGS)

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution/university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in related fields.
• Remuneration: ₹22,000 per month.
• Number of Posts: 3 (Three).
• Place of Posting: Laskien/Thadlaskein/Namdong C&RD Block.

7. Data Entry Operator (MGNREGS)

• Qualification: XII passed with Diploma in Computer.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in related fields.
• Remuneration: ₹15,000 per month.
• Place of Posting: Namdong C&RD Block.

8. Assistant District Programme Manager (SBM-G)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in Rural Development or related fields.
• Remuneration: ₹20,000 per month.
• Place of Posting: Jowai.

9. Block Programme Assistant (SBM-G)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with computer skills (MS Office).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years or more in the IEC sector or in Government-sponsored programmes.
• Remuneration: ₹15,000 per month.
• Number of Posts: 2 (Two).
• Place of Posting: Amlarem/Namdong C&RD Block.
