Essential Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in any of the following fields from a recognized university:
- Atmospheric Science
- Meteorology
- Hydrology
- RS–GIS
- Forestry
- Environmental Science
- Environmental Management
- Water Resource Management
- Earth Sciences
- Geology
- Disaster Management
- Civil Engineering
- Geoinformatics
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Research & Development.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS
- Data collection, analysis, and manuscript development
- Preparation of project reports
- Field visit experience

4. Remuneration

Duration of Contract
- The contract period is 1 year, extendable based on performance review and project requirements.
- Selected candidates must sign a deed agreement with MBDA as per prescribed terms and conditions.

General Information
- Meeting the minimum qualification does not guarantee shortlisting.
- MBDA may limit the number of candidates called for interview based on higher qualifications/experience.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via SMS/Email.
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on www.mbda.gov.in and displayed on the office notice board.
- MBDA reserves the right to call for additional documents or conduct additional tests.
- Qualifications and experience may be relaxed for otherwise suitable candidates for lower positions.
- Number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease.
- MBDA may extend or modify the recruitment process without prior notice.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written test or interview.
- Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
- Existing MBDA/MBMA staff who are eligible may also apply, subject to submission through their reporting officer and having completed at least one year of service in their current post.
